Course Description: 

We understand that shooting can be intimidating, so we take all the time needed to make sure you feel comfortable with a handgun. The course covers gun safety, parts of the handguns, ammunition and ammunition selection, loading/unloading, misfires, establishing your dominant eye, grip, stance, and more. Students then get one on one instruction on the range while shooting a variety of handguns to see which gun fits them the best.

Experience Level: Beginner

Duration:  4.5 hours

Course Fee:  *$120, includes handguns, ammunition, eye & ear protection

Equipment Required: None but students may bring a personal firearm to shoot in place of one of ours.

Notes: 

  • Firearm “selection” will be based on ammunition availability
  • Valid ID required for range access
Cancellation Policy
If the class is canceled by Bullet and Barrel, the full amount of the purchase is REFUNDABLE. Or, the funds can be CREDITED and applied toward a future class.
If the course is canceled by the student 72 hours before the training day, the full payment is REFUNDABLE or can be CREDITED and applied toward the same class held at a later date or another class.
If the course is canceled by the student within 48 hours before the training day, the full payment is NON-REFUNDABLE but can be CREDITED and applied toward the same class held at a later date or another class.
“No shows” FORFEIT their registration fees.
All REFUNDS will be processed within approximately 3-5 days.
Classes will be held rain or shine unless postponed by Bullet and Barrel. Bullet and Barrel will notify (by e-mail) all enrolled students as soon as possible if any changes are made to class dates.
