Bowling Pins
Description: The classic bowling pin match is a favorite of all shooters! We hold these matches to the same rules as the Alabama State Games and offer rimfire and centerfire pistol options. This is a 2-hour event, and all experience levels are welcome.
Equipment Needed:
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Pistol
- 3 Magazines are suggested
- Case for firearm
- 60 rounds minimum
- Sign Up occurs in-store, 30 minutes before the shoot
On-Edge
Description: This is a dynamic shoot/no shoot scenario that requires precision, speed, and good judgement. We offer rimfire and centerfire pistol options out to a max of 15 yards. This is a 2-hour event, and all experience levels are welcome.

Rimfire Steel
Description: The ringing of steel is one of our favorite competitions we do at Bullet and Barrel. These shoots are rimfire only and offer that great instant gratification of ringing steel. The targets are at 12 yards and are great fun for all levels of experience.

Outlaw/hit factor matches
Description: Interested in putting your pistol shooting skills to the test against some lively and challenging stages and target presentations? Our Outlaw/ Hit Factor match is just what you’ve been looking for. Compete head-to-head against other shooters and race against the clock to score the most amount of points in the shortest amount of time. Outlaw/ Hit Factor matches combines speed and accuracy with an emphasis on USPSA style matches. A USPSA membership is not necessary to compete as these matches are not affiliated. A quality holster, at least 3 magazines, and safe gun handling skills are required for participants. The Drawstroke class is required to participate in our outlaw matches. Open to members and the general public alike, Bullet and Barrel welcomes all who wish to participate and encourage shooters at any skill level to compete. Sign up is available below. Please sign up early to ensure your spot. If the event is full please call ahead to arrange participation.
Fun Shoots
Description: Our fun shoots offer a mix of speed and accuracy. They make use of the different shoots we offer like bowling pins and bullseye. We offer rimfire and centerfire pistol options out to a max of 15 yards. This is a 2-hour event, and all experience levels are welcome.

Bullseye
Description: Our Bullseye matches are scored in a similar way to the NRA method of scoring. These occur at 10-yard, 15-yard and 25-yard distances. This is a 2-hour event, and all experience levels are welcome.
